Chandrabose (born Kanukuntla Subhash) is an Indian lyricist who writes songs for Tollywood films. He was also a playback singer at the start of his motion picture career. He has won a number of awards as best lyricist.. == Biography == Chandrabose is from the village of Challagariga in warangal district, in Telangana , where he completed high school. He earned a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Early in his career, he tried working as a singer in Doordarshan, without success. He then decided to switch to working as a lyricist. His friend Srinath, who suggested the change, introduced him to the director Muppalaneni Shiva. Siva had already directed ''Gharana Alludu'' and was starting production on ''Taj Mahal''. Music director M. M. Sreelekha helped him with his first movie song, "Manchu Kondalloni Chandramaa", in 1995.
